Casa Viva is located 70 kilometres away from Santiago – Capital of Chile- in the heart of Casablanca Valley, and 45 kilometres off the Port of Valparaíso. The soils of Casa Viva vineyards were formed 110 million years ago under the Pacific Ocean. 235 hectares of soils with volcanic origins composed of red clay from shallow depths on a decomposed granite substrate, provide each Casa Viva wine with unique characteristics.

The Chilean port town of Valparaiso is home to some of Chile’s most vibrant architecture. For this reason in 1993 it was nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
